Join us for an exciting night tour to the Gion area where we will get an up close view of the nightlife of Kyoto and the world of the Geisha.
The tour will take you to the most beautiful streets of two different Geisha districts while explaining about the Institution of the Geisha in Modern Japanese Society. The ancient streets and the mysterious atmosphere give Gion an extraordinary charm as if the scenery was taken from an old book.
Along the way, if we are lucky, we can spot Geiko (Geisha from Kyoto) or Maiko (apprentice Geisha) on their way to a night meeting.

The tour departs from the address of your Kyoto accommodation, which you provide when booking the tour. If you are coming from Osaka or Tokyo, your guide can go and pick you up from Kyoto Station.

This tour is also fun for kids. They will have fun trying to spot geisha and will have no difficulties as restrooms, convenience stores, and other shops are along the path of the tour.
